Edit: Changed the title since Dröttningu is her actual name. xDD I was re-reading Eldest and found that out. Dxx Except dA won't let the O with the dot things on it appear cause it's not a letter that's allowed or something. Dx
Whoooooooooaaa ajdahfjasgaj. This took too long. But came out WAY. FREAKIN'. AWESOME. I started it on Tuesday, then got distracted and lost interest on Wednesday, and then finished it today. And I loooove it.
In case you were wondering, it's Arya Svit-kona from the Eragon series, with the Yawe on her shoulder. Which turned out more complex and colorful than I planned it to be. This picture is based off the part in eldest when Eragon is painting the Fairth of Arya, and says she's like shaded in romantic light. :3 I added the rose petals cause I wanted tooo. And man I've wanted to draw her for soooo long since she's my second favorite female character (First one being Angela. I LOVE her. xDD) She's like, wise, kickass, purty AND an elf! :3 I think I'ma try to draw Angela next...
Aakhdkjahs I FREAKING LOVE HER HAIR. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL. -bows down in awe-
Like srsly. I think I can say officially that I'm getting the hang of Photoshop. :3 And yes, her shirt was horribly half-assed. xDD So yeah. Arya Svit-kona, elf princess, ambassador, and Eragon's love interest. Whiiich I frown upon. I think Eragon would be better with a younger, happier girl. But honestly, I don't think Eragon should have a lover. Cause like, he has Saphira, and if something happens to them, Saphira will also be sad. D:
And if you're wondering, the 'svit-kona' in her name is a formal honorific for an elf woman of great wisdom. :3 Yes, I am an Eragon junkie. Too bad they totally fucked up the movie... -grumblegrumble-

I LOVE it and I so agree Angela is the greatest female character, and Eragon shouldn't love Arya, it's annoying >< lol, but anyways, really good job here!!!!1!!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
